Court Reporting Institute
The Court Reporting Institute in Houston offers students a 120 week Associate of Applied Science – Court Reporting program. The Court Reporting Institute is an accredited facility, approved by the Texas Workforce Commission and certified by the National Court Reporters Association. The maximum class size for theory is 30 students and 20 for laboratory work. The program encompasses general education course material, court reporting theory and lab work. Graduates are qualified for employment as a court reporter, freelance reporter, deposition reporter or captioner. Admissions and Financial Aid Advisors are available to assist students with career planning and tuition financing. The Court Reporting Institute participates in scholarship programs.
